I suppose that I never really believed it when everybody who has visited the USA insisted on how friendly the people all are out here. It is true and second only to that is the excellent sense of service shown by everybody in a way only seldom seen in England. Congratulations to them!We clearly have lessons to learn as a nation in matters of basic politeness.
