Caning? - No thanks, it doesn't work.

When the cane was abolished in schools we were told that this would actually lead to better behaviour.
We now have the statistics to prove it. Only 1,000 pupils are sent home from school for assaults on teachers and pupils every day.
So a mere 5,000 a week.
