Why is there such an award? Why divide people on gender grounds when both are writing 'on a level playing field'?It is perfectly understandable that this may happen in - say, tennis - but in journalism, it is an absurd categorisation.
Perhaps we could divide writing into articles written by those under five foot six and those over.
