Bye, Ernie - I Only Ever Knew You Through The Medium of Radio But The World Is Poorer For Your Passing.

I have always enjoyed Ernie's stories and am aware that this interesting man post D Day, fought over almost exactly the same ground as did my late and much missed Dad - From Normandy to Brussels, through Holland and over the Rhine.
