Our 'Dave' has shown how wretchedly poor he is at playing the political games of the EU.
Certainly, some of the less informed EU-realists will start to admire him for his latest pretence of representing the UK's interests but these will inevitably be few in number, I reckon.
The good news in all of this is that his tactics may possibly make our EU exit a little more likely. Surely, 'he is in blood stepped in so far that returning were as tedious as go oer.' In other words, backtracking would involve so much 'lack of face' that it becomes nigh on impossible and would surely signal his demise as Tory leader.
This may not be the best for the UK as the 'pretend EU-realists' in the Tory Party would grasp the leadership and their intentions are infinitely more subtle than 'Dave' could ever manage.
Seeing him maintain the leadership and foul it up - is probably the best outcome.
It would make a referendum more likely and would give a further boost to UKIP who are fast coming up on the rails.
If I seem to be negative in welcoming Cameron's ultimate failure - it is probably what we need before the country determines that leaving the EU is our only option. Achieving the ultimate positive will not come without pain, I fear but little can be worse that remaining a full member of the EU.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
