Hard Right Parties - And How To Feed Them.

All you have to do is to pontificate, preach political correctness at ordinary voters and totally ignore all of their legitimate concerns.
Then their knee-jerk response is to vote for the party which gives the greatest offence.
With the fragmentation of the BNP and indeed its much-welcomed pressing of the self-destruct button, there is no longer any viable far right corner where a protest vote can be wasted. (Most BNP votes were never from actual BNP supporters, in any case.)
UKIP (to the utter consternation of the guardianistas) has always chosen to follow a moderate route and will now hopefully be seen as the obvious protest in the absence of rightwing extremes.
The only danger is that sometimes a protest vote can be registered to anybody who is not LibLabCon. As a consequence of this weakened thought process, votes may end up going to the remaining, high profile extremes.
Please take a bow The Green Party and Respect! Protest votes can literally go anywhere.
