Odd innit? If you are predicting a purely corporeal disaster - as with the global warmists for example - you 'care for Mankind' and so your warnings must be heeded.
If you give a warning on the spiritual level - ultimately of far greater import - you must be classed as a loony or religious nut. Particularly odd when the evidence runs more to the favour of the latter than the former.
