We are suffering from a dangerous, historical revisionism with
regard to World War One.
The blame must be laid firmly at the likes of the
Fabian Society whose core belief was, and remains, the abolition of the nation state. They
have allowed their ideas to trickle, as 'fact', into relatively mainstream
history. Any and all possible propaganda was fed into a heavily misinterpreted history designed to limit or even remove all blame from Germany for the
outbreak of The Great War.
The Schlieffen Plan is a case in point. Examine it
carefully and try to spot precisely where it can be seen as 'defensive
planning'. It was purely and simply a plan for future German
aggression.
