The Privileged Class.

I agree partly with the fact that socialism created a 'privileged' class of people that choice to live at the tax payer expense, even though some of those taxpayers are earning less that people receiving benefits.
People lost the sense of perspective: During the riots we have seen the champagne socialist defining 'poverty' as not having a smartphone or a pair of trainers. I lived in South America, people doesn't understand how lucky they are on living in a country like the UK with the welfare system. In effect is the opposite: Rather than being thankful they are demanding, never is enough, the 'rich' needs to give more money so they can continue leeching from the system. Socialism eroded the very principles of work, is not longer the 'pay your way' is about subsidising: Doesn't matter if is benefits or public founding for the latest piece of junk art, is always the same.Even the a protestant church like the CoE has a bishop of Canterbury who is a socialist, where is the protestant principle of work?
Regarding the TV show however, I don't think that represents the people living in poverty, if anything rather than helping them is stigmatising. Typical guardanista poverty porn.
