They started 40 years ago excising Religious Knowledge
and Divinity (Christianity) from the curriculum to replace it with that mishmash
called RE.
Although it is just possible to find a Christian route
through the current GCSE course in RS - many schools just do not
bother and pupils opt out.
In the previous three years in comprehensives the
pupils do not learn enough to differentiate between Moses and the Apostle
Paul!
If there is a Christian School near you
- use it!
Today - hardly any youngsters have had any real base
in Christianity. Young people do not even suspect that the faith has any
value.
I repeat: 'Well done!' You won - but will certainly
pay a huge price for it. (Need I mention 'millstones'?)
