The Tour de France.

So. Well then. Excitement all around. It's a-comin' through Sheffield. (Big deal.) A 'peloton' (if that's the right word) is a gang of cyclists who whip past you in the blink of several eyes and you have no chance of picking out who is who. Then they are gone. (I was once taken out of school for a whole morning with my class to watch the Milk Race scoot along Ashby Road in Scunthorpe circa 1967 - so I do know whereof I speak.)

Phew. I think I'll have to find a spot on the route where I can wait for hours then see 'em flash past. (Ah yes, I can happily revisit my childhood.)
