Like the Christian I am, I am always delighted to see rehabilitation in any individual. In the mighty victory in the Second Test v India, Alastair Cook did right all the things which he had previously been doing wrong.
His bowling changes were intelligent; he inspired the 'old guard'; he led from the front and above all he barely put a foot wrong with his fielding positions. Where such dramatic changes came from, I cannot say - and it was only one match - but there was sufficient in his captaincy for me to actually reconsider my calls for his removal. (For the moment, at least.)
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
