Houses Seized To Pay Care Home Fees.

More than 100 elderly people A WEEK are having their properties seized to pay for care home fees.

As matters stand currently, for some people, there are advantages in placing money into insurance bonds - but this must be done well in advance of needing care. For some, splitting the ownership of a house with a spouse can be helpful. May I suggest that anyone in their fifties or older should be prepared to pay whatever it takes to get the best financial advice for their particular situation. This can save a fortune in later years.
