A propos of nothing in particular, the UKIP tax proposals, designed to help the lowest paid, not hammer middle earners and not disincentivise investors are superbly designed.
True, the 'leftist moralists' will insist that this 'rewards millionaires' - but as they cannot see the wood for the trees - they MUST surely be ignored. The left feel that, if damaging society is the price to be exacted in exchange for higher taxation, it is a price well worth the paying. They are blinkered fools.
The trouble here is that the average readers of the Guardian and The Independent are clearly beyond economic redemption.That is as it is. But the real problem is that this is the idea sold to millions by The Mirror - and on a knee jerk level - it seems to have some value when any serious line of thinking will reveal it to contain nothing of the sort.
