Today has seen the publication of the latest report by the
Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration,
responding to it UKIP Migration spokesman Steven Woolfe
said: “This is yet another report that shows the UK immigration
system is completely flawed.
"This government’s attitude to immigration is simply
unworkable and hopeless. Not only has the Theresa May
failed to bring down net migration to the tens of thousands,
she has failed to put the correct system in place to track those
migrants whose visas have expired. May’s record on immigration
is in a dire state. In essence she has failed in her duty as the
Home Secretary.“The underlying point here is that only when
we control the quantity and quality of migration can we track and
control those who are here temporarily. Of course, the Home
Secretary and the Prime Minister both refuse to recognise this
because they understand that the UK cannot control migration
until we leave the European Union.
