EU army will “once and for all destroy the UK’s

UKIP Defence Spokesman, Mike Hookem MEP, has branded
calls by German defence minister, Ursula von der Leyen, for
the creation of a EU army, “a further attempt by the EU to once
and for all destroy the UK’s national integrity and security”.
Mike, who recently criticised similar comments by Jean-Claude
Juncker, said, “Miss von der Leyen’s remarks are further proof
of a concerted effort towards the creation of a EU Army.”

move, as we believe it will degrade our national security, our
ability to protect our islands and interests and further erode our
