Archbishop criticises bishop over sex ethics.

A Nigerian Archbishop has criticised the Bishop of Liverpool for his failure to challenge same-sex relationships. Bishop Paul Bayes attended an 'Open Table' service in Toxteth last Sunday and described the love of the LGBT congregation as "a gift to the wider church." Archbishop Lasebikan of Ondo said that God's love compels us "to point people away from such behaviour and to the forgiveness found in ... Jesus Christ. Not to do so is a dereliction of a bishop's duty.”  Christian Concern
