This is the usual mantra that to get 'good' people you have to pay high salaries but you don't ever see any real improvement in outcomes. I call them the 'Clip board, shoulder pad brigade' always in meetings and confusing people with acronyms. Yup. Sounds about right - but why are all of these people in newspapers referred to as 'teachers'? - They are very much administrators who never see the inside of a classroom from one week to the next!
