Jane Collins has described Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's visit to Scunthorpe today as "hypocrisy at its worst" after his support for EU membership and green levies which has made the British industry uncompetitive.Speaking from Strasbourg where she delivered a speech in the European Parliament calling on the government to ignore EU rules and put British workers first, the MEP for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire said UK politicians were "doing nothing more than trying to be seen to do something and hide the impotence of the government thanks to state aid rules and green taxes."
