2)They are deliberately using mendacious scaremongering attacks - similar to those used on UKIP in the past.
Marine Le Pen is NOT Jean-Marie Le Pen! They share DNA and a name but are streets apart. He is an unrepentant racist - she is not! Marine would fit easily into the right of the Tory party here - and nobody in their right mind could describe them as being 'far right'. The rhetoric of calling her party 'far right' at every opportunity completely ignores their shift from that position over what is now years. Why is it that the hard left are permitted to 'move towards the centre' but the hard right are not? - It is an important question.
