Refugees.

I wonder why refugees are being given a permanent home in the UK? Surely, we could offer 'a temporary visa' which expires if and when returning to their homeland would no longer be fraught with danger. Only if their necessary sojourn here should exceed seven years should we contemplate offering a permanent home.
