LORD Lawson has urged Britons to quit the European Union with a passionate attack on "undemocratic" Brussels bureaucrats.
Speaking on Question Time, the former Chancellor claimed the "whole purpose" of the EU is to "create a United States of Europe".
The outspoken Eurosceptic told an audence in Manchester: "I am not at all hostile to Europe – I live in France and I love it there.
"But this is not about whether you like Europe or not – it's about whether you want to be part of a United States of Europe." Express.
