Please pray for our brothers and sisters in the Tajik capital where a Baptist church has received anonymous bomb threats.

Release contacts say that the church in Dushanbe has received two calls from someone calling himself a Muslim and threatening to blow up the church.

Local Christians are concerned: the church is preparing for an Easter celebration on May 1 and fear their services could be targeted. The recent suicide bomb attack on Christians in Lahore, Pakistan, has put believers in other countries on high alert during church festivals. Release Int.

• Please pray that God will protect His people in Tajikistan.
• Pray that our Tajik brothers and sisters, thought to number fewer than 100,000, will not be intimidated but will continue to walk close to God and build His kingdom in their nation.
• Pray that the Tajik Government will take firm steps to protect minorities such as Christians and promote religious tolerance.
