I Do Not Need Sky TV.

I want Sky TV for its excellent cricket coverage. I began with Sky paying £5-99 a month in around 1993. This was good value and, although Movie Channels were not included, the deal was sound. They then started breaking up the broadcasts into 'packages' and started pushing prices up every year. That same package today costs £58 pcm! So this is an increase of about 900%.
Have salaries gone up by 900% since '93?
I give Sky a hard time every year when renewal time comes around. I tell them that I want their product but do not need it!
I am passed to 'retentions' and the negotiating commences. Every year I see my bill slashed! Over the years my savings have run into thousands!
Remember: they need you but you do not need them. You have a powerful bargaining chip.
