I APPRECIATE that Barnsley Central MP Dan Jarvis is a sincere and caring politician (The Yorkshire Post, July 12) but surely he can understand that Theresa May had to do a deal with the DUP in order to stop his party leader Jeremy Corbyn and shadow chancellor John McDonnell bankrupting the country? Labour may be able to whip up crowds with their hysterical tactics but, if they ever got into positions of power, the country would go to the dogs.
