THE UK took a democratic decision to leave the EU and yet Brussels
appears to disregard this mandate. But, remember, the EU is not a democracy. It
simply fears its bureaucratic decline and elimination.
Watch with horror (and relief?) as the EU descends ever downwards,
shredding its remaining democracy as it clutches at the edges of Eastern Europe
in a rapid and inevitable demise. Yorks Post.
People must remember that their elected representatives, the MEPs, have no actual powers. They get to rubber stamp the decisions of The EU Commission - but they are happily permitted to talk about it first! In the unlikely event that the EU Parliament turn down a measure it will keep coming back in one form or another until that measure is finally passed!
