Mrs Blogger goes into an old folks home once a fortnight as part of a small team who try to bring a little bit of light into the lives of severe dementia sufferers.
She returned home bubbling on Tuesday. She had met an elderly lady who was nasty and often violent. She wouldn't talk to anybody without venom.
Once the carols began she smiled and began to sing along and be part of something greater than herself. Her response may well have only been short-lived but it astonished the workers in that home who had never even glimpsed that side of her.
What a wonderful witness! Please pray for that lady, the other dementia sufferers and the dedicated care workers.
