Amber Rudd announces knife 'crackdown'.
If it weren't all so deadly serious, I would burst out laughing!
1) Will there be mandatory jail sentences for carrying a knife other than a small collapsible penknife?
2) Mandatory minimum three year sentences for threatening with a knife?
3) Mandatory minimum sentences of fifteen years for using a knife?
4) Enough police to do a reasonably effective job?
- No. Of course not! The word 'crackdown' is utterly meaningless in our brave new world.
