THE UK has “more power” as they enter trade talks with the European Union, which is likely to be pressured by member states to give Britain a good Brexit deal, according to Tory MEP Dan Dalton.

European Parliament Chief Whip Dan Dalton said Britain has “strong hands to play” as it enters trade talks with the European Union.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Mr Dalton said: “I think going forward in the trade deal, the UK is actually on a much more even negotiating stance, if you like.
“In the first round, the EU had many more cards to play because it was so important for us to move to the trade negotiations.
“This time around, when we come to trade, the EU industry has got as much to lose as the UK industry.
