No To Pick-And-Mix.

Okay. So you have an issue with a Christian doctrine - well, there is, in places, some wiggle room where honest disagreement within the Christian Faith is concerned.
Frankly, I do not understand the views of those who take an ultra hard line on: transubstantiation; pacifism; divorce; women preaching; women vicars - and so on. I remain slightly unconvinced by the Christian arguments used against euthanasia. (And yet, I cannot see how any Christian can possibly support 'abortion on demand'.)
These are all areas where different standpoints are perhaps feasible but anything which is fundamental to faith is non-negotiable.
I think back to the wicked words of a certain Bishop of Durham who described the Resurrection as 'a conjuring trick with bones'. Sorry - but that leads the purveyor straight to hell - do not pass go; do not collect £200 - or salvation.
Accept the salvation God offers through the cross.

Christianity is all about SALVATION. We cannot earn it; we do not deserve it; we do not reach God without it; we cannot escape our lawful punishment for eternity other than through the blood of the Saviour.
'Universal salvation' is an evil doctrine which leads many to a lost eternity.
In the midst of this, we must ask the fundamental question. If there is no such place as hell - what is this salvation which Jesus died for? - Saved from what?
Wholly pointless, isn't it?
You really cannot disbelieve in hell and be a Christian. You just have to deny God's Word, cross your fingers and hope for the best. Denying God's sacrifice is denying Him.
Do NOT be led from the true path by the 'liberal Christians' who infest the Church today - they will drag you into a lost eternity on their coat-tails.
