Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. The Newlyn School.

I am supposed to know a bit about famous paintings so it is much to my shame that I have neglected to learn a great deal about The Newlyn School.

Started around 1884 in Cornwall because of the excellence of the local light conditions, it contained at least a dozen artists of quality, notably Stanhope Forbes and Walter Langley - see samples below, first by Forbes and the second by Langley:
