I've Actually Met Nick and I Like Him.

From: Nick Martinek, Briarlyn Road, Huddersfield.
REPORTS that the UK is signalling to the EU that we are willing to compromise on fisheries and trade rules comes as a fresh kick in the face for Leave voters.
That the UK owns the fishing rights around our coast is made clear by the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. That we voted in good faith for the Leave we were promised – taking back all control from the EU – is also clear.
The Boris Johnson government was elected only six months ago on the understanding that we would truly cease being governed by the EU or any part of it. Continuing interference and control by the EU over our laws, money or fish is completely unacceptable. The future of our country as an independent nation is at stake. Yorks Post.
