Half of US Christians say sex is sometimes, always OK in dating relationship
Half of Christians say sex in a committed dating relationship is sometimes or always acceptable, and over half — with the exception of evangelical Protestants — say casual sex is OK, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center. CP.
Blogger: the fact that many believing Christians go such routes is one thing for which they must answer to God - unless, of course, they have already repented.
To claim that this is actually 'okay' is deplorable. Attitudes such as "God won't really mind" are intolerable and brings their faith into doubt.
Identical comparisons may be made to those who indulge in homosexual activity. No distinctions can or should be made.
The exact same applies to both adultery and fornication.
The problem arises because churches are too cowardly to preach what MUST be preached.
God is not against sex! He invented it. All He has done is shown us the parameters. These are not general guidelines.
It is the same argument as, "God gave us Ten Commandments and not ten suggestions."
