As a complete side issue, how do dyed-in-the-wool believers that salvation cannot be lost, respond to people who appear to be totally Christian and then backslide completely?
Do they really believe that people cannot gift away their salvation?
John 10:28 - "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand."
What, however, it does not say is, "People will be prevented from clambering out of that loving hand by their own free will."
