Apart from the sickening violence described in the story one other thing stands out to me - The perpetrators are described as protestors not extremists or terrorists. There is also no reference to them being left wing even though it is obvious from the slogans on their placards. Considering the BBC is supposedly impartial you have to wonder if the language would be similar if people were protesting a right wing cause. I think sadly we know the answer.
