The truth in court is meant to be "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth."
Good, innit?
Well - no. Not really, as this seems only to apply to: witnesses, magistrates, judges and the CPS.
It does not apparently apply to defence lawyers who: use the truth, abuse the truth, bend the truth, stretch the truth and misrepresent the truth.
So very many do not actually lie but will lead courts away from the demonstrable truth by word manipulation and wrong emphases.
