THE Labour Party's John McDonnell has launched a scathing attack against the England football fans who booed players for taking the knee in support of Black Lives Matter (BLM), branding it "racist".

People are heartily sick of all of the posturing after the death of a man which did NOT EVEN OCCUR IN THIS COUNTRY. The 'knee gesture' done once made a statement - done ad nauseam - it grates on the nerves.

This blog has consistently warned that racism would worsen.

Let us assume John is correct that this was racist. How odd that this appears at a time when racism in football had got so very close to disappearing. It is not 1% of what it was back in the 80s.
