Artificially Created Drama.

It is a long time since I bothered to watch a series this poor right up to the bitter end - and I just wish I hadn't bothered.

Artificially created emotion in abundance is a real turnoff. 

Hints of sinister plots were totally unconvincing.

In any drama you have to suspend disbelief up to a certain point but this series, with the super cast, was a total bore and utterly unbelievable.
