Why I could not attend a same-sex wedding

I believe that such an event ought to elicit mourning, not celebration. If we are convinced that this sexual union is sinful, how can we do otherwise?
Blogger: some say that the true Church is being anti-Christian in these matters. Au contraire. We follow the very clear teaching of the Word of God. We try our best to love sinners. We are not loving them - if, knowing that they are Hell-bound - we fail to warn them.
God's forgiveness comes via full and sincere repentance of sin. Without repentance there is no salvation - ever!
We must not reject people who sin in this way but we are obliged to warn them of the consequences. Having homosexual inclinations is not a sin - practising this is a sin which may be only be forgiven if fully repented.
Pretending that God will forgive without repentance will lose you your salvation.
Read Scripture without trying to make it mean what you want it to mean.
Do remember that all different sins must be repented.
Those who are heterosexual and follow Bible teaching must ensure that they are not having a similar problem with different sins. God does not think that your 'much lesser sin' is, in essence any different.
Homosexual practice is just one more sin amongst many.
To demonstrate this point: adultery, murder, theft, false testimony inter alia are all in there!
