Not so many years ago, we had 500,000 on 'permanent sick'. Today, that figure is given as being 2.8 million!
Let us assume that a larger population, with more mental issues along with more sick people post-covid has kicked in.
I very much doubt that the figures could have doubled - but let us allow that they have.
That still gives us a net 1.8 million people sitting comfortably at home who should be out working!
Problem solved! - All we have to do is investigate all cases properly and we have a huge new source of workers.
Hmm. I wonder if our new Labour government will put a stop to all those people out there who scam the system? - You know - all those whom the Tories have permitted to Carry on Scamming?
Will the Generation Z and Millennial drones lose their benefits too?
The consequences of not punishing those who refuse to work have been catastrophic for our nation and can only get worse.
Labour under Attlee would: A) Not have believed this and then B) WOULD have tackled the issue!
