Voice.

 Latest Edition of VOICE Magazine

Here in the West we are used to freedom: freedom to live our lives; freedom to meet and worship as Christians; freedom simply to be a follower of Jesus.

However, in many places in our world today life is very different. In your latest edition of our Voice magazine we have a special focus on those who have had that freedom taken away - simply for being Christians. Their stories are both inspiring and challenging.
  • In Eritrea our partner Dr Berhane Asmelash shares how Christians see it as a calling to be imprisoned for Christ (see pages 14-15)! Yet they still value your prayers.

  • In Pakistan the imprisonment of Christians on so-called blasphemy charges has a huge knock-on effect on their families. Read the stories (pages 6-7) and learn how you can pray for those suffering for Christ.

  • In China Christians are bracing themselves for what our partner calls 'a harsh winter' of persecution descending. Read the full story, with updates on some of those in prison, on pages 10-13.
Such stories prompt our prayers - but also challenge us to give, in whatever way we can, to help meet real need in adversity. On page 8 of Voice you can read a snapshot of the kind of difference your giving can make. I am inviting you to read these stories and consider giving to support those imprisoned for their faith and their families.

Your gift of £30, £50, £100, or more can meet the needs of prisoners' families, their healthcare, legal support and enable pastoral visits.

Please give today, by calling 01689 823491or by securely giving online here.

With gratitude for your love,
