A released killer murdered a woman before dismembering her body with power tools in a bid to avoid going to jail again.

Steven Sansom, 45, admitted murdering Sarah Mayhew, 38, before chopping her up and disposing of the remains in a river and parkland over a nine-mile radius, the Old Bailey heard yesterday.

It can now be revealed that Sansom stood in the same court 25 years ago to plead guilty to his first murder after he stabbed a taxi driver in the neck for £25. DM.
Blogger: how many hundreds of cases have seen innocents murdered by killers released from prison after killing before? Over the years, cases still run into huge amounts, at the same time as abolitionists pretend that a tiny handful of innocents were hanged (pre-DNA) seven or so decades ago?
Which they weren't, of course! Hanratty - guilty. Evans - guilty. Bentley - guilty.(Common purpose.) Even if the abolitionists had been right - so what? Mistakes and accidents happen. Undesirable? - Of course! But the big picture is all that really matters. Do we stop having bus routes after some unfortunate soul has been run over by a 53?
