Terminally ill people could take up crucial hospital bed space if hospices have to pay increased employer National Insurance contributions, directors have warned.
Under plans set out by Rachel Reeves, the Chancellor, in the Budget, employer National Insurance contributions will rise by 1.2 percentage points to 15 per cent from April 2025.
