Henrietta.

Thank you so much for your support for your persecuted church family. Today, I want to share the story of a brave young member of that family.

Rumana in Bangladesh is only nine years old, but she already faces daily persecution for following Jesus. “I don’t have any friends in school because I’m a Christian,” she says. “I’m just alone.”

Classmates bully and reject her, neighbours torment her and persecutors even burned down her family home.

But thanks to people like you, Open Doors local partners can offer practical support, including a regular Sunday school and rebuilding Rumana’s home. More than that, they can show children like Rumana that they have a global church family who love and pray for her.

Every £35 could help an isolated child attend a special Christmas gathering, so they can celebrate Christ’s birth safely and joyfully.

Every £62 could give immediate relief aid to persecuted Christians, including medicine, vital necessities and shelter for displaced families.

Your gift today could bring hope and joy to more children like Rumana this Christmas. Will you give now, to show persecuted children they aren't alone?

Thank you so much, and every blessing to you and your loved ones this Christmas,

Henrietta, CEO Open Doors UK & Ireland
