Okay, the song was utter rubbish but that has never stopped fifth rate groups and third rate winners from taking the title. Go on. You know I'm being totally fair.
Time to quit the competition and if the powers that be leave us up for annual humiliation - then vote with our feet. Don't bother watching.
Shame really! In its heyday, 40+ years ago, it was actually quite amusing and watchable.
