Some organs of the press have claimed that this was a suicide - and they may well be correct. It is quite possible that his wrongdoing brought more ignominy than he could live with.
What sickens me, is that his level of wrongdoing certainly did not merit a death sentence!
However, I note that the finger of blame has hardly been pointed towards the real causers of all this - the wokeists and extreme leftists at the University of Cambridge who had wantonly abandoned the idea of pursuing a true meritocracy.
