Eritrea
One of our partners for Eritrea works to reach people from all backgrounds in Eritrea with the gospel, and also provides for the physical and material well-being of those in need.
Pray for the persecuted church in Eritrea. Pray for church leaders in prison (some of whom have been incarcerated for more than two decades). Pray that God will enable them to remain strong in faith and will provide for their families.
Pray for two radio stations (one based in Kenya and the other in Ethiopia). Pray that staff, leaders and freelancers will produce fresh and clear gospel messages that will reach a large number of people in Eritrea. Pray that this radio ministry will encourage and equip the leadership of the persecuted church, and will help Christians persevere in faith. Pray for the financial needs of these two stations.
Pray for the disciple-making programme our partner uses, to assist both new and established Christians in the Eritrean diaspora. Pray they will continue to grow and to be effective witnesses in the countries where they now live.
