Those are the words of Indian Pastor Rajendra*, a man passionate about seeing people won for Christ. A man who has suffered for that passion.
Rajendra has been brutally attacked. He has seen members of his family attacked, too. He has also been arrested and imprisoned.
Several years ago he and his brother were attacked by a group of Hindu extremists. Rajendra suffered axe wounds that left him hospitalised and unable to stand or sit. He prayed for healing—so that he could continue gospel ministry! ‘I wept and cried out constantly, praying to the Lord that I could glorify him again,’ he said.

Last year Rajendra and his family were attacked again, in an incident that left his parents severely injured. He was then falsely accused by his attackers and wrongfully imprisoned for six months. Our partner continues to fund ongoing legal costs.
