The Overwhelming Love of Jesus.
A love so deep, no ocean can contain,
A grace that floods the darkest, hidden space,
He bears the scars of every human pain,
And wraps the weary in a warm embrace.
A grace that floods the darkest, hidden space,
He bears the scars of every human pain,
And wraps the weary in a warm embrace.
No height nor depth can separate His own,
From mercy reaching out to hands that fail,
He stepped away from heaven’s golden throne,
To meet us in the shadows of the vale.
From mercy reaching out to hands that fail,
He stepped away from heaven’s golden throne,
To meet us in the shadows of the vale.
An overwhelming tide that breaks the dam,
Of every fear and doubt we hold inside,
The gentle Shepherd and the bleeding Lamb,
Who walked the lonely road to be our guide.
Of every fear and doubt we hold inside,
The gentle Shepherd and the bleeding Lamb,
Who walked the lonely road to be our guide.
Oh, boundless love, that holds us through the night,
And wakes our souls to see the morning light.
And wakes our souls to see the morning light.
