October Song.

October brings a crisp and golden grace,

As autumn leaves begin their gentle fall,
A quiet stillness fills this sacred place,
In answer to the Maker’s silent call.

The fading summer yields its final light,
To painted hills of amber, red, and gold,
While cooler winds remind us of His might,
And mercies that will never grow too old.

With thankful hearts, we gather in the harvest,
And praise the Hand that guides the changing year,
For when the winter shadows feel the darkest,
His constant love dispels our deepest fear.

Lord, tune our souls to sing Your endless praise,
Through all of October's fleeting, blessed days.
